I think the first thing to do is to have local DJs post samples, demos, links to their homepages, etc. Then, if people who have parties to throw see and listen to us, maybe they'll post their houseparties? I guess we just need more members still really.

I'm thinking, guy A throws a houseparty for a big group of friends in NE. He wants some music for people to dance to and happens to have a basement... Guy A listens to our demos online, checks our bios, and contacts a few he likes. They all collaborate, the DJs bring equipment and are allowed to accept tips for the efforts; or play for free if they're ok with it. Presto! Instant dance-house-party.
